The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Marcel BoloČ™, said: ![]() The call is not addressed to companies interested in obtaining capital investments - they will be able to apply later from the selected intermediaries. The selection will be carried out by the experts of the European Investment Fund, according to its own criteria and procedures that are described in the call, and each allocation proposal will be subject to the approval of the Investment Committee of the REF. The call is available HERE, on the dedicated page on the website of the European Investment Fund, and applications can be submitted continuously until December 2025, to the email address: call is intended for fund management teams, incorporated or not at the date of application submission. The total contribution, of 400 million euros, will come from Component 9 of the PNRR, entitled "Support for the private sector, research, development and innovation". The Ministry of European Funds and Projects (MIPE) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) launched on Monday the call for the selection of financial intermediaries for the allocation of resources from the Recovery Equity Fund ("REF"). Investment firms and other teams are expected to sign up for the selection procedure for the managers of the future 20 "Recovery Equity" investment funds, which will be fueled with 400 million euros, in total, from National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), to then grant financing to startups and other Romanian companies, in exchange for parts of the business. ![]()
